From the Backbone of Italy to the Icon of Design
Celia Bertoia speaks of her father Harry Bertoia and how his childhood country Italy influenced his psyche and career.
This will be a different perspective of my father's work; that of how a rural hardworking village effected his development. Harry loved Italy and was able to return only one time after he left at age 15. One of his dying wishes was for his sister to carry his message back to San Lorenzo and tell them how much he appreciated growing up there and had never forgotten them. Hope to see you there!
